Easy tips how to eat super clean on a budget

Almost of us want to be healthy and look good. There is no doubt that the right diet rich in essential nutrients can bring us close to the body of our dreams. Eating healthy it's not always easy, especially when we live in a place with poor variety of food choices in the stores. So, we cannot find the healthy products we need.

Also the prices of  organic products are not very cheap and we end up choosing the cheaper, but unhealthy alternative.

Moreover, advertisements in general really have the capability of confusing us about the quaity of food and what is really healthy and what is not. For example, not all of the food products that are hyped as really healthy are in fact such. Some of the labels contain wrong information and we often make mistake by buying the wrong foods. So we start asking ourselves whether it's possible to eat very clean and save money in the same time. I will tell you that this is possible to achieve but you really have to put effort into it and really want to accomplish your goal.
I will number you some helpful tips that can save your budget and also your figure.

Tip 1 Buy in-season produce

This tip can save you a lot of money. The thing you should do is buy often from your local market. Because the in-season vegetables and fruits are at their peak when it comes to nutrition, you get a very healthy food on low prices. Not necessarily all foods that are healthy or labelled as "super foods" are expenisive. There are cheap foods out there that almost everyone can afford everyday (such as seasonal fruits and vegetables, eggs, unsweetened yoghurt, beans, lentils, frozen veggies, rice, almonds, chicken breasts, bananas, potatoes).

Tip 2 Buy in bulk

It may sound not very cheap but if you buy your fruits and vegetables in large quantities, you can save a considerable sum. This also avoids excess packaging, which saves you even more money and is friendly to the environment.

Tip 3 Take advantage of leftovers

The preparation of leftovers will not only save you time but also money. That's because when you consider the time and effort you spent preparing the meal, throwing the leftovers won't be a good idea when trying to cut on the budget.

Tip 4 Buy more frozen and canned food

If you are trying to save aside some money you should definitely consider this option. Frozen and canned food can save you a lot of money and they are nutritious because all the nutrients in them are preserved. Spice it up and try buying diferent variations or brands.

Tip 5 Avoid buying dressings and sauces

By making your own salad dressings and sauces you will avoid most of the artificial preservatives, sugar, sodium and harmful to the health stuff.  Most of the bottled dressings are not so cheap and by mixing up your own you will spend less money in the long run.

Tip 6 Buy less processed foods and more whole foods

When you see that a bag of chips costs much less than a pack of organic spinach you get somewhat discouraged from buying healthy food. But remember that although you are saving some money by choosing the chips, the spinach has way more nutritional value which is beneficial to your body. In the long run the healthy and more satisfying food diet pays off.

Tip 7 Cook simple

It's not necessary for a dish to be super fancy in order to be tasty. Sometimes the simplest of the dishes are the most delicious. You will see how much money you will save by preparing simple dishes at home with less ingredients than eating out.

Finally, before deciding which option to choose, ask yourself what do you want - to save money, be healthy, live a fulfilled life. The choise is in your hands.
